ISGE, AGOTA Set to Convene Major Gynecologic Congress in Zanzibar

ZANZIBAR: The 7th International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy (ISGE) Annual Meeting, held in conjunction with the 28th Association of Gynecologists and Obstetricians of Tanzania (AGOTA) National Congress, is scheduled to take place from May 21 to 24, 2025, in Zanzibar.

Themed ‘Bringing the Appropriated Minimal Invasive Gynecologic Surgery to the Right Patient in the Right Setting in Africa’, the conference aims to emphasize tailored surgical approaches to enhance women’s healthcare across the continent.

Speaking in Zanzibar on Monday, AGOTA President Dr. Matilda Ngarina described the event as a unique platform for professionals to connect, exchange knowledge, and foster partnerships to drive transformative changes in women’s healthcare in Africa.
