Gardner Habash dies aged 50
DAR ES SALAAM: Renowned TV and Radio presenter Gardner Habash died today aged 50. He died at the Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute (JKCI) where he was undergoing treatments..
The news of his death was confirmed by Clouds Media management sending condolences to the family, friends and close relatives.

“More information about the tragedy will be released later. Our sincere condolences to the relatives, friends, colleagues and fans of Captain G Habash. The Lord has given, the Lord has taken, blessed be the name of the Lord,” Part of Clouds statement read.
While he is being mentioned as one of the first founders of Clouds Media Group, Mr Habash came into fame through the ‘Jahazi’ programme that was aired at the station.
In May 2005, the famous presenter got married to Tanzanian songstress Judith Wambura, alias Lady Jaydee where the two got divorced with no child in December 2016.
However, after a long time of silence, the two divorcees broke the internet again last year as they met to have a chat just as friends saying that they are good and not enemies.
