Fly More, Pay Less: Air Tanzania special offers to Dubai, Johannesburg

DAR ES SALAAM: Air Tanzania has launched its new “Fly More, Pay Less” offer which provides customers with unbeatable fares and enhanced benefits on flights between Zanzibar and Dubai, as well as Dar es Salaam and Johannesburg.

According to a statement issued by ATCL’s Public Relations and Communication Unit, the With the offer, Air Tanzania customers traveling between Dubai and Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam and Dubai will benefit from a 20 percent fare reduction, effective from October 30, 2024.

Moreover, the statement added that flights to Zanzibar are scheduled three times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

“The strong demand for travel to Zanzibar has prompted Air Tanzania to enhance Dubai route to a daily service, providing passengers with greater flexibility to meet their travel needs,” the statement read.

Furthermore, ATCL pledged continuous premium services to its customers where Economy Class passengers will enjoy a complimentary allowance of three free pieces of baggage, each 23 kg and Business Class passengers four pieces of the same.

“This reflects Air Tanzania culture of catering to customers’ needs and prioritizing their comfort,” the company noted.

As for Johannesburg customers, Air Tanzania informed the public that their long awaited flights have resumed  and will take place on the 30th of November 2024.

“We are proud to meet this demand, ensuring that passengers flying to and from Johannesburg experience the same comfort on our state-of-the-art B737-9 MAX aircraft as those flying on our international routes,”

“Our direct flights to Johannesburg are designed to optimize travel with our “Fly More, Pay Less” offer, with return fares starting at just $479. Flights will initially operate five times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. This route will complement our extensive network, ensuring seamless connections to exciting destinations within the ATCL portfolio, including Mumbai, Dubai, Nairobi, Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro and Mwanza.”
