FLTC Rakin Cars -B dominate 6-Side Night Cricket tourney

THE PBPS 6-Side Night Cricket Tournament 2025 continues to captivate fans with thrilling contests and standout performances, as witnessed in the latest fixtures played from Monday through Wednesday.

Tournament Coordinator, Dinesh Vaishav confirmed that the competition is progressing smoothly and has so far delivered exciting action. FLTC Rakin Cars -B extended their unbeaten streak with two commanding victories on Wednesday.

In their first match, they thrashed Wicked Whacker’s by 53 runs after piling up 90/2 in 6 overs and restricting their opponents to just 37/2. Later, they demonstrated their bowling prowess once again, dismissing DIT Gymkhana for just 27 runs before chasing down the target in only 3.2 overs with five wickets to spare.

HiTech-A also impressed with a narrow five-wicket win over Unity-B in a low-scoring encounter. Unity-B managed 34/3 in their 6 overs, but HiTech-A chased it down with ease, reaching 35/2 in 3.2 overs.

On Tuesday, Cricket Gunners held off a spirited Patel-A-side to clinch a 6-run victory. Defending a modest 50/4, they held Patel-A to 44/3. Flashnet Cric Pranthanz-B posted 57/3 before bundling out Unity-B for just 31 in 4.4 overs to claim a dominant 26-run win. Unity-A shone brightly on July 28, recording two commanding wins.

They first outclassed Patel-B by 45 runs (90/4 vs 45/6), then returned to crush Wicked Whacker’s by a massive 82-run margin, scoring 94/1 and bowling their opponents out for just 12 runs in under five overs.

Patel -A bounced back from their earlier loss with a convincing 32-run win over Unity-B, putting up 59/4 and restricting Unity-B to 27/6.
