Dr Msabaha: Former Energy and Minerals Minister passes away

DAR ES SALAAM: Dr. Ibrahim Msabaha, former Minister for Energy and Minerals, passed away on Tuesday while being rushed to Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) in Dar es Salaam for treatment.

A family member confirmed to a local media outlet that Dr Msabaha had been unwell and had been brought to the hospital twice prior to his death.

In addition to his role as Minister for Energy and Minerals, the 72-year-old held various positions, including Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation.

He also served as a Member of Parliament for Kibaha Constituency in the Coast Region.
