GEITA: Deputy Prime Minister Dr Doto Biteko has issued a rallying call for unified government leadership to drive development efforts forward without obstruction.

Addressing residents of Msangila in Runzewe West Ward, Bukombe District, Geita Region, he emphasized the government’s commitment to socio-economic progress and the implementation of high-quality development projects.

Dr. Biteko highlighted President Samia’s dedicated leadership in resolving energy challenges and overseeing the execution of major projects.

He underscored significant achievements such as eliminating power rationing and advancing infrastructure developments like tarmac roads and improved water services nationwide.

“The government remains steadfast in its commitment to expand infrastructure, healthcare facilities, and water supply across the country,” he affirmed.

Dr. Biteko also praised ongoing flagship projects aimed at bolstering the economy and enhancing human capital development nationwide.

Furthermore, he highlighted the near-completion of the Julius Nyerere Hydropower Project and ongoing initiatives like the Kigongo-Busisi Bridge construction in Mwanza Region.

Meanwhile, Geita Regional Commissioner Martin Shigella urged citizens to update their information in the Permanent Voters’ Register (PVR) ahead of the upcoming general election.
