Dodoma RC honoured with Malkia wa Nguvu 2025 award

DODOMA: DODOMA Regional Commissioner Ms Rosemary Senyamule has been awarded the Malkia wa Nguvu 2025 Award for the Central Zone in recognition of her outstanding contribution to public service and community leadership.
The prestigious awards, organised by Clouds Media Group, were held over the weekend in the capital, Dodoma, under the theme “Malkia wa Nguvu 2025 – Twende Duniani” (Let’s Go Global).
Ms Senyamule was recognised for founding the Wanawake na Samia (Women with Samia) movement, which began in Dodoma and has since expanded to all 26 regions of the country—24 on the mainland Tanzania and two in Zanzibar.

Officiating at the ceremony, the Minister for Health, Ms Jenista Mhagama, praised the awardees for their dedication, leadership, and positive impact on national development, especially through community service.
“The contributions of these women are inspiring. They reflect the power of leadership, commitment, and innovation in transforming lives,” said Ms Mhagama.
The Malkia wa Nguvu Awards aim to celebrate women making significant strides across various sectors in Tanzania, with a strong emphasis on leadership, innovation, and social change.
