Diplomats, clerics to witness inauguration of 13th Assembly

DODOMA: PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan is scheduled to officially inaugurate the First Session of the 13th Parliament in Dodoma on November 11, this year, following the completion of the General Elections.
The first session will also see the election of parliamentary leaders and the appointment of the Prime Minister.
The inauguration ceremony will be attended by top government officials, religious leaders, diplomats, and guests from both within and outside the country.

In her address, President Samia is expected to outline the government’s vision for the coming period, touching on key national priorities such as development agendas, economic reforms, and the strengthening of good governance.
This important event will mark the official commencement of the 13th Parliament’s activities, which holds the primary responsibility of enacting and overseeing the implementation of laws for the benefit of all Tanzanians.
