Digitizing Tourism Industry: Exim Bank unveils seamless payment solutions at Z- Summit 2025

ZANZIBAR: Exim Bank Tanzania has reinforced its dedication to driving the growth and development of Zanzibar’s tourism sector by collaborating with key
industry stakeholders, including Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) to allow tour operators to easily, quickly and securely make payments such as park fees.

This year’s Z-Summit 2025, held at SUZA University in Tunguu, convened a diverse delegation of government officials, business leaders, and representatives
from the tourism and hospitality industry to explore innovative solutions for enhancing Zanzibar’s position as a top global travel destination.

Speaking at the event, the bank’s Chief Finance Officer, Shani Kinswaga, representing the Chief Executive Officer emphasized the bank’s journey with Z-Summit since its inception, marking this as the third consecutive year of sponsorship.

“This summit serves as a crucial platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic discussions on how to further strengthen Zanzibar’s position as one of the leading global tourist destinations. Exim Bank’s continued support underscores our deep-rooted belief in the tourism
