Therefore, it is our responsibility to ensure that this voice is heard loud and clear, and we will achieve that with all the strength and wisdom that God has given us,” he said.
Furthermore, Mwinjuma assured TSN that he would strive to address the challenges facing the company to ensure that employees work in a conducive environment. He also emphasized the need for TSN to work diligently to defend the government.
Speaking about the printing plant construction progress, Mwinjuma stated: “After visiting this project, I am confident that once completed—it is currently at 53.1%—TSN will be a unique institution. It will be self-sustaining and will also provide printing services to other institutions in need. At present, we know that TSN prints its two newspapers through a private entity, a situation we want to end. With the efforts invested by the government, we believe this will soon be achieved.”
For her part, TSN’s Managing Director, Asha Dachi, stated that the company’s vision is to be a trusted media outlet. She added that one of TSN’s key responsibilities is to serve as a bridge between the government and the people, a role the company continues to fulfill with professionalism.
