Councillors tasked to transform Temeke into a progressive municipality

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Mayor of Temeke Municipal Council, Uzairu Athumani, has directed all council employees to fully and promptly implement all the promises made by President Samia Suluhu Hassan.

Speaking to media outlets shortly after the conclusion of the First Meeting of the Municipal Councilors’ Assembly held in Dar es Salaam, Athumani emphasized that fulfilling the President’s promises is a top priority for the municipal leadership.

Additionally, Mayor Athumani stated that he and the councilors have put strategies in place to effectively manage all municipal resources in order to transform Temeke into a modern and progressive municipality.

For her part, the Deputy Mayor of Temeke Municipality, Nuru Bayingana, urged residents to remain patient, noting that the new leadership will continue to work hard to ensure citizens receive quality services and happiness, as emphasized by President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan.

Residents who attended the council meeting also expressed confidence in the new leadership of Temeke Municipality, stating that they expect to see positive changes and further development under the new leaders.
