Chama nets two as Simba thrash Mashujaa

DAR ES SALAAM: A brace from Clatous Chama has steered Simba to the second slot on the Premier League table.

The Reds have disappointed Mashujaa 2-0 at Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam on Friday night.

Chama found the back of the net in the 57th and 72nd minute respectively to stun the visitors.

As such, the Reds now have 45 points from 19 matches, one point above third placed Azam.

Also, Abdelhak Benchikha’s side are trailing leaders Young Africans with seven points after playing 19 games apiece.

On Sunday, it will be a Dar es Salaam Derby day as Azam welcome Yanga at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in the city.
