CDF inaugurates SUMAJKT’s  Advisory Board of Directors

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Minister for Defence and National Service, Dr Rhimo Nyansaho, has officially inaugurated the new Advisory Board of Directors of the National Service Economic Development Organization (SUMAJKT).

The board will be chaired by retired Major General Michael Isamuhyo, who was recently appointed by the Minister for Defence and National Service.

Speaking during the launching ceremony, the minister told the new members that he expects to see the organization make greater strides in fulfilling the objectives for which it was established in 1981.

Elaborating, the minister said that SUMAJKT has made significant and commendable progress in recent years, particularly in economic production and youth development, noting that the organization has implemented numerous productive projects that have contributed to national development.

Furthermore, he urged the newly inaugurated board to work closely with management to build on the achievements and to enhance innovation in order to further strengthen productivity and overall performance.
