CCM pledges to modernize Kibamba with quality roads, health services

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Chama Cha Mapinduzi(CCM) parliamentary candidate for Kibamba constituency, Angellah Kairuki, has promised to modernize the constituency in terms of roads, health services, schools, and water.

The promise was made by the candidate while addressing the people of Kwembe ward, announcing her policies in the 2025 General Elections.

Kairuki said that if she is elected by a majority vote and if they elect Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan by a landslide, she will fight to address the existing and other challenges that will arise to bring positive changes to the lives of the people of Kwembe, especially those at the lowest levels.

“Let me assure my brothers and sisters that if you elect me, I will be a competent and careful administrator. I will be a strong leader in implementing our election manifesto. In partnership with you, I will bring good services, real development, and ensure equal opportunities for all,” she stressed.

She insisted she will continue to fight for roads, including the Luguruni, Kwembe, and Kisokwa highways, to ensure they are expanded and completed.

She will also prioritize local roads, Kibamba Hospital, Maziwa, and Mloganzila.

“We have our Kibamba road to Mloganzila, eight kilometers to Mloganzila Citizen, and it is being completed, but I recognize the importance of the Kwa Mamabosi bridge, the Mzimima bridge, Kibwegere, and our road to Bunju.

She added, “But I know the importance of our Catholic Church road to Torino road for our people in Msakuzi, and I am monitoring it to ensure it is passable at all times.

Kairuki explained that in terms of security, many neighborhoods need police stations, so she will build police stations in the neighborhoods and enable the cooperative security groups to have equipment and uniforms so that they can provide better services, but in parallel, she will continue to monitor the councils as they are responsible for building and improving local government offices so that they are better and have everything needed for the locals to provide better services.

“I recognize the importance of employment opportunities for youth in this, we will monitor to ensure that we connect our youth with various formal employment opportunities and others within the country as well as abroad by providing them with appropriate methods for them to go in the right direction but also to be able to prepare a resume and other things and connect them with training opportunities and other things,” she emphasized.

She also said that in terms of markets in Kwembe ward, 73 hectares have been allocated and 53 hectares remain, which could be very suitable for the construction of a market for various products as well as having slaughterhouses for chickens and other livestock.

Moreover Kairuki said that the elderly, people with disabilities, and widows are areas she will prioritize to ensure that they receive the services they deserve.

“I realize that we have many children with disabilities but recognizing that we also have very few schools with special units to serve children with special needs, we will fight to convince them to get special schools for children with special needs in our constituency.

In terms of capital and loans, she said that recently eight groups have benefited from council loans so she will strive to do something. She will organize business and entrepreneurship training.

“We will provide opportunities for various financial institutions with affordable terms and friendly to mothers, the elderly, the youth, and people with disabilities.
