CCM pledges to build an agro-processing, dairy industrial park in Rukwa
SUMBAWANGA: THE Chama cha Mapinduzi’s presidential seat’s running mate, Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi, has pledged that if the party is given the mandate to lead in the country, it will complete the construction of an Agro-processing and Dairy Industrial Park in Kwela Constituency, Sumbawanga District, Rukwa Region, within its five-year term.
Dr. Nchimbi made this statement today, September 8, 2025, upon arriving in Sumbawanga for a CCM campaign rally held at Laela Primary School Grounds. He used the occasion to promote the party’s policies and rally support for CCM candidates at the council, parliamentary, and presidential levels.
He explained that, in addition to the industrial park, the CCM government plans to build three new health centers in Sumbawanga District — one of which will be located in Laela Ward, Kwela Constituency, where the rally was held.

Dr. Nchimbi also announced plans to construct 203 new classrooms for primary schools and 250 classrooms for secondary schools in Kwela.
Furthermore, he stated that a major agricultural market will be built in Laela within the Sumbawanga Municipal Council.
In the water sector, Dr. Nchimbi highlighted plans to improve access to clean and safe water by constructing water dams and drilling additional deep wells. The goal, he said, is to ensure that at least 90 out of every 100 people have access to clean and safe drinking water.
