CCM embarks on exercise to update, verify members records

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) Dar es Salaam Region has announced that it will begin implementing a special exercise to update and verify membership records at the branch level, with the aim of identifying party representatives who have passed away or relocated from their areas.
The announcement was made today by the CCM Dar es Salaam Regional Secretary, Stanley Mkandawile, while speaking during a working session for branch leaders from Kinondoni and Ubungo districts. He said the initiative is intended to strengthen party leadership starting from the grassroots by ensuring the availability of an accurate and reliable membership database.

Mkandawile added that having correct and up-to-date membership information will enable the party to plan and carry out its activities more effectively, while also enhancing accountability among branch leaders within their respective areas.
Meanwhile, the CCM Secretary General, Dr. Asha Rose Migiro, said the move is crucial for building and strengthening the party from the grassroots level. She explained that the party will reduce the level of household supervision by party representatives, in order to enhance broader community oversight, particularly in identifying people entering and leaving specific areas.
