Two minutes later, Clatous Chama did what he does best as his expertly taken set-piece went straight into the back of the net to award his side a third goal.

Substitute Prince Dube was also on the scoreboard midway in the second half, using well a clean assist from Chama and just 11 minutes before full-time, Stephanie Aziz Ki secured a fifth goal.

Then a late showdown from Mudathir Yahya sealed the deal in the 86th minute enough to drive his side to the next phase of the competition.

However, drama ensured in the 13th minute when Vital’O defender Amede Ndavyuse was shown marching orders for deliberately handing the ball inside the box.

He attempted to save a hot Zouzoua’s strike that was en-route into the back of the visitor’s net, a mistake that rendered him a straight red card hence making his side to finish the battle with 10-players on the pitch.

In the 74th minute, Yakubu Uwimana was also sent off for Vital’O after committing a foul on Yanga’s attacking midfielder Maxi Nzengeli hence picking a second yellow card that yielded a red card.
