Bohra spiritual leader in Tabora for tourism-related break

TABORA: THE spiritual leader of the global Bohra Muslim community (Da’i al-Mutlaq), Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, has arrived in the country for a tourism-related rest break.
Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin was officially received at Tabora Airport by several officials, including the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, Dr. Hassan Abbasi, and the Regional Administrative Secretary of Tabora, Dr. John Mboya.

Additionally, Bohra community followers from various parts of the country were present to witness this important event.
This leader, who has over one million followers worldwide, is well known for his commitment to providing various social aid programs across many countries. His rest period is planned to be private, spending time at tourist attractions located in the western region of Tanzania, where he will relax and rejuvenate his health.

His visit presents a significant opportunity for the country’s tourism sector, especially in the Tabora region, and also strengthens religious and social relations between the Bohra community and various local communities in Tanzania. This marks an important step towards fostering cooperation and promoting shared development.
