BancABC supports Dar Orphanage home

DAR ES SALAAM: BancABC Tanzania has over the weekend donated humanitarian assistance to the New Faraja Orphanage Centre at Mburahati, in Kinondoni District, Dar es Salaam Region.
BancABC Head of Risk Management Department Saleh Geva said that the bank has supported the centre during this Holy Month of Ramadan specifically for children living in orphanages and vulnerable environments.
“Our visit to the orphanage has clearly stated why BancABC has been embarking on supporting our surrounding communities in different ways. We will continue supporting our communities because they are part of what makes our business keep on growing,” he said.
He added, “Today is an important day for BancABC to donate and socialise with children who are being raised and taken care of at the centre.” He said BancABC Tanzania has been working tirelessly in delivering financial services close to Tanzanians, whereby now the bank has over 700 agents and 100 satellites in different districts in the country.
He said the bank has now special accounts for small and medium entrepreneurs which are made for offering loans for them to boost their businesses.
The bank has loans for civil servants through the satellites which are available countrywide. New Faraja Orphanage Director Ms Zamda Idrisa said that it was important to recognise the efforts made by stakeholders like BancABC in supporting the less privileged in society.
“Your support has come at the right time as these children living at the orphanage need to celebrate just like others. We appreciate and call for your continued support on our centre,” she said.
