‘Today is an important day to BancABC Tanzania and especially the staff as apart from giving these donations which was in form of food stuff, but we had very rare opportunity to socialize together with children who are being raised and taken care of here.
It was very emotional sharing happy moments together.
They looked happy and our target was to make them feel loved and cared and at the same time show that they are living the same society just like others’, said Geva.
Geva added, “Giving something to smile it’s our way of showing them that we care and give them hope to believe in the future. Our visit to these orphanage Centre has clearly stated why BancABC Tanzania has been embarking on supporting our surrounding communities in different ways. We will continue supporting our communities as believe they are part of what makes our business keep on growing’.
‘BancABC Tanzania biggest pride and joy has always been the ability to change the lives of others and empower people to transform their own lives through different initiatives. We believe on an equal society and that is why this time we have chosen to share Iftar with children living in vulnerable environment’, said Geva.
New Faraja Orphanage Director Zamda Idrisa said that it was important to recognize the efforts which are being made by private institutions like BancABC Tanzania in supporting the less privileged in the society.
“Your support has come at the right time as these children living at orphanage centers also need to celebrate just like others. We really appreciate and call for your continued support on our center. We call other institutions and individuals to continue supporting us we have children here who need clothes, school fees, food and medication and our center does have sponsors rather relies on well-wishers,” she said.
