His closet golden boot pursuer Feisal Salum (Azam) has ended the campaign with 19 goals to his name.

Feisal has contributed one goal in their 2-0 success over Geita Gold and the latter have consequently been relegated.

However, the season’s top goal scorer award was a two-horse marathon between the Aziz Ki and Feisal only to be decided on the last day of the 2023/24 league chapter.

Meanwhile, Azam have won a chance to represent the country in the CAF Champions League next season.

They have wrapped up the campaign on second place with 69 similar to Simba who also have collected 69 points but will feature in the CAF Confederation Cup.

As it stands, Yanga and Azam will parade in the Champions League after ending the season on top slot and runners up respectively.
