ASFC: Simba thrash TRA Kilimanjaro 6-0, qualify for fourth round

DAR ES SALAAM: Simba are the fifteenth Premier League team to step into the fourth round of Azam Sports Federation Cup (ASFC).
They have knocked out TRA Kilimanjaro 6-0 at Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday evening.
The Reds pumped two goals in the first half via Ladack chasambi and Sadio Kanoute.
In the second half, Freddy Kouablan stretched the lead before a brace from Kanoute to complete his hat-trick.
Substitute Pa Omar Jobe netted the sixth goal in the 72nd minute to finish the business for his team.
Meanwhile, a complete list of 16 teams that have made a breakthrough into ASFC fourth round are defending champions Young Africans, Simba, Azam, KMC, Kagera Sugar and Geita Gold.
Others are JKT Tanzania, Mtibwa Sugar, Kagera Sugar, Singida Fountain Gate, Ihefu, Mashujaa, Tabora United, Coastal Union and Rhino Rangers.
Rhino Rangers are the only non-Premier League side to squeeze in the last 16 of the competition and they eliminated Tanzania Prisons 6-5 on spot-kicks.
