Alexandria beckons Simba for Al Masry duel
DOHA, QATAR: SIMBA Sc will start their CAF Confederation Cup’s quarter-final campaign in Alexandria Egypt after the CAF draw conducted this evening in Cairo, Egypt pitted them against Al Masry.
Simba will start their first leg away on April 2 this year at Borg El-Arab Stadium because, Simba as a group leader, should start away and play a return leg match at home.
Al Masry will be the fifth Egyptian team to face Simba since the team began the CAF-level tournaments in 1974.
The first team was Mehalla El Kubra, then Zamalek and Al Ahly. The fourth and fifth were Arab Contractors and Ismailia respectively.

If Simba advance will be playing against the winner of a two-legged match between Zamalek and Stellenbosch of South Africa.
Of all of them, Al Ahly have played more games with the Tanzanian giants, Simba, and their traditional rivals, Young Africans.
Other matches will see USMA Algiers play Constantine while Berkane will lock horns with Asec Mimosas.
