TANZANIA: AIRTEL Tanzania has inaugurated three more 4G network towers in Geita and Kigoma bringing the total number of telecom towers under the Digital Tanzania Project (DTP) to 84.
These towers are part of the 758 planned under the DTP inaugurated by President Samia Suluhu Hassan last May.
The three towers, switched on yesterday, are part of Airtel Tanzania’s initiative funded by The Universal Communications Service Access Fund (UCSAF) and the World Bank.

This crucial step seeks to enhance connectivity in areas previously disconnected from vital communication networks.
