Airtel partners with Arusha Gymkhana Club to launch monthly golf tournament

Arusha: Airtel Tanzania has officially launched the second phase of the Airtel Monthly Golf Tournament in partnership with Arusha Gymkhana Club.
This one-year agreement, which kicked off today, positions the tournament as a premier event for over 60 business leaders, decision-makers, and influencers, while engaging the club’s 300+ members.
The event blends competitive golf with opportunities for networking and relationship building in a relaxed, social atmosphere.
The partnership is designed to promote sports while also fostering stronger connections within Tanzania’s business community.
Speaking at the event, Joseph Muhere, Airtel Tanzania’s Director of Business Enterprise, highlighted the synergy between Airtel’s objectives and the tournament’s purpose.
“At Airtel, we see sports as a powerful medium that brings people together, sparks dialogue and drives collaboration. The Airtel Monthly Golf Tournament is more than just a sporting event; it is a hub for community engagement and a testament to our commitment to nurturing meaningful relationships in Tanzania’s business landscape, both of which are vital for economic growth,” he said.
