A new company to introduce mobile fuel stations

GEITA: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, Dr. Doto Biteko, has directed the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) to expedite the process of issuing necessary documents and permits to ky Ruby Private Company Limited,to facilitate the establishment of advanced fuel stations across the country.
Sky Ruby, a company known for its expertise in bowser automation and fuel storage, is currently working through preliminary procedures to introduce a series of high-tech fuel stations in Tanzania.
The envisioned mobile stations will include diesel, petrol, CNG, and LPG stations, aimed at bolstering fuel security and addressing fuel needs in remote areas.
Speaking to Daily News Digital at the ongoing Mining Technology Exhibition in Geita, the company’s director, Mayur Gavali, highlighted the company’s vision to support the government’s efforts in enhancing fuel security and improving access to fuel in underserved regions.

He explained that Sky Ruby’s mobile fuel stations are tailored to provide solutions in areas where traditional fueling infrastructure is lacking.
Operating in Tanzania since January 2024, Sky Ruby, which expanded from India, has already rolled out its fuel delivery solutions in regions such as Mwanza, Dar es Salaam, Geita, and Ruvuma, with plans to extend its services nationwide and into neighboring countries.
“We have successfully penetrated key regions and are focused on expanding further,” said Mr. Gavali.
He added that the company collaborates with a reliable partner from Italy to introduce cutting-edge fuel technologies and other relevant expertise from Europe to the African market.
“We appreciate the government’s support as our products continue to receive positive feedback from Tanzanians,” he noted.
