THRDC calls for peaceful campaign ahead of General Elections

DAR ES SALAAM: THE National Coordinator of the Tanzania Human Rights Defenders Coalition (THRDC), Mr. Onesmo Olengurumwa, has insisted on the proper use of words that will enable Tanzania to conduct peaceful General Elections.

Speaking to members of the press, Mr. Olengurumwa emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and national unity by being cautious with public statements.

“We urge all politicians in the country, especially during this election campaign, to be very careful about the kind of language they use. Sometimes, statements are made without fully understanding their impact, or even with good intentions, but they may end up creating unnecessary tension or putting individuals at risk,” he said.

Mr. Olengurumwa said elections are vital for all Tanzanians, and therefore, it is essential for political parties to prioritize national interests.

THRDC plays a critical role in advocating for peaceful elections, urging all stakeholders to respect democratic principles, human rights, and the rule of law.

  1. In this awesome design of things you’ll receive a B- with regard to hard work. Where exactly you misplaced us was first in your details. You know, people say, details make or break the argument.. And that couldn’t be much more true at this point. Having said that, allow me tell you precisely what did do the job. Your text is actually extremely persuasive and that is probably why I am taking an effort in order to comment. I do not really make it a regular habit of doing that. Secondly, even though I can see a jumps in logic you come up with, I am not really convinced of just how you appear to unite the points which produce the conclusion. For now I will, no doubt subscribe to your position but hope in the future you actually link the dots much better.
