Kibaha Stand hosts free Mama Samia legal aid services

KIBAHA: THE Regional Commissioner of the Coast, Abubakar Kunenge, has urged the residents of the region to come out in large numbers to receive the Mama Samia (MSLAC) legal assistance, emphasizing its services are free of charge and are aimed at helping citizens facing various legal challenges.

Speaking today, February 24, 2025, as the guest of honour during the launch of the campaign in the Maili Moja Ward at the Old Bus Stand, Kunenge stated that there are still many citizens who are unable to access their rights due to lack of legal knowledge, absence of legal assistance, or the high costs of such services.

“There are still many citizens who cannot access their rights, either due to the inability to get legal help, not knowing what the laws say, or the costs they are required to pay. Recognizing this, Samia has launched free legal aid for the people,” said Kunenge.

He encouraged the residents of the Coast region to take full advantage of this opportunity and make use of the services offered, which cover land disputes, marriage issues, inheritance, child support, and other challenges requiring legal solutions.
