UN Deputy Secretary-General arrives for Energy Summit

DAR ES SALAAM – United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohamed has arrived in Tanzania to attend the African Heads of State Energy Summit, “Mission 300,” scheduled for January 27-28, 2025.

She was welcomed at Julius Nyerere International Airport by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Cosato Chumi, on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The summit, aimed at addressing Africa’s energy challenges and opportunities, will take place at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Center in Dar es Salaam.
