Simba, Young Africans unveil new kits for CAF-CL matches

DAR ES SALAAM: Tanzanian giants Simba and Young Africans have unveiled official kits to be used for their CAF Champions League (CAF CL) matches.
Both sides have replaced names of betting company sponsors that occupies at the front part of their jerseys for other sponsors.
One of the global betting firms is among CAF’s sponsors hence clubs with kits bearing names of the companies dealing with the same are not allowed, an opportunity that prompted the local clubs to introduce other jerseys for the competition.
The Reds play ASEC Mimosas in their first group stage match of the Champions League at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Saturday.
On the other hand, Yanga face CR Belouizdad at 5 July 1962 Stadium in Algeria on Friday.
It is the first time ever for Tanzania to have two envoys in the CAF CL group stage simultaneously.
