MONTHS
In kiswahili ,it is so simple to mention a month. You can decide to use the
numbers or English calendar. When using numbers you make reference
to ordinal numbers from first to twelve like kwanza,pili,Tatu,nne ,tano,sita,
Saba,nane,Tisa,kumi,kumi na Moja na kumi na mbili.
But you need a phrase which mention a month in kiswahili,you have “,mwezi wa kwanza”
as equivalent to January,The other style of telling months is by swahilising the English
months like Januari,februari,machi,Aprili,mei,Kuni,julai,Agosti,septemba,oktoba,novemba
desemba.
