Tanzania’s Chief Mufti, Russia’s Mufti, sign cooperation agreement in religious affairs

DAR ES SALAAM: TANZANIA’S Chief Mufti, Sheikh Dr Abubakar Zubeir Bin Ally, and Russia’s Mufti, Sheikh Rawi Ainuddin, have signed a cooperation agreement between the Religious Affairs Department of the Russian Federation and the National Muslim Council of Tanzania (BAKWATA).

The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation on religious matters, promote peace and love, and enhance unity within communities in the two countries.

During the signing ceremony, the Tanzanian Mufti was accompanied by BAKWATA Director of Foreign Affairs, Alhaj Sheikh Sharif Twahir Musawa, and Director of the Qur’an and Da’awa Department, Sheikh Othman Kaporo.
