MOSHI: THE Moshi Color Festival is emerging as an entertainment platform with potential to promote tourism by bringing people together through colour-themed activities, games and social interaction while showcasing attractions in the town, including Mount Kilimanjaro.

Hugo’s Garden Manager and one of the organisers, Maganga Manyanya, said the turnout exceeded expectations, particularly because it was the first edition of the event.

He said the festival was designed to bring children and adults together through activities that allow participants to have fun and relieve stress.

“The second edition will be bigger than this one, and we are planning to bring big-name artists whom people would not expect to see at the festival,” he said.

More than 700 people attended the festival, held for the first time at Hugo’s Garden in Moshi, where participants of different ages enjoyed entertainment activities, food and beverages.
