Tanzania private schools Expo 2026 brightens Dodoma

DODOMA: METROMAX Tanzania Limited has described the Tanzania Private Schools Expo (TPSE) as a significant step towards improving parents’ understanding of private schools and helping them make informed decisions about their children’s education.

The three-day expo, held from October 9 to 11, 2026, brought together 36 private schools from across the country, providing parents and guardians with an opportunity to learn about different schools and compare their services before making decisions on where to enrol their children.

The event was officiated by Dodoma District Administrative Secretary (DAS) Sakina Mbugi, whose participation highlighted the importance of the initiative in promoting access to information about private education.

Speaking after the event, Metromax Tanzania Limited Director John Kapela described the expo as successful, saying it had achieved its main objectives.

He said the platform enabled parents and guardians to obtain first-hand information about private schools in one place, reducing the need to travel long distances to visit individual institutions.

Kapela said the participating schools also showcased their modern facilities, infrastructure and educational services, allowing visitors to better understand the opportunities available to learners.

He noted that some schools offer quality education, good infrastructure and affordable fees, adding that the expo was designed to help parents identify institutions that meet their expectations and financial capabilities.

Kapela further announced that the next edition of TPSE would be held in October next year, with organisers expecting increased participation from schools and visitors, alongside improved exhibitions and logistical arrangements.
