Korea, UAUT and CTS strengthen education ties with Tanzania

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Korean Embassy has held talks with a delegation from the United African University of Tanzania (UAUT) and CTS International on opportunities to strengthen cooperation between Tanzania and Korea in tertiary education and vocational training.
The delegation, led by UAUT Council Chairperson Dr Rwekaza Mukandala, included CTS International President, Kim Do-young and other representatives from the two institutions.
During the visit, the two sides discussed ways of expanding educational cooperation, particularly in improving access to quality higher education, vocational training and knowledge exchange.
Tanzanian Ambassador to Korea,Noel Kaganda, thanked the delegation for the visit and commended CTS International and UAUT for their contribution to Tanzaniaβs development.
He also invited the two institutions to collaborate with the Embassy in identifying scholarship opportunities at Korean universities for beneficiaries of the Samia Scholarship Extended Programme.
The discussions underscored a shared commitment to strengthening links between Tanzanian youth, Korean universities and industry, with the aim of expanding access to quality education and practical skills training.
The cooperation is expected to support knowledge transfer and contribute to Tanzaniaβs national development priorities.
