UTT AMIS offers health services to customers during Customer Service Week

DAR ES SALAAM: Tanzania Joint Empowerment Fund (UTT AMIS) has prepared special services for its customers as part of Customer Service Week celebrations, including giving them an opportunity to undergo health screening in collaboration with Ocean Road Hospital.
Speaking today in Dar es Salaam during Customer Service Week, UTT AMIS Director of Operations, Issa Wahichinenda, said they had prepared a special arrangement to serve customers, whereby, in addition to receiving investment services, they would have an opportunity to receive health screenings from medical professionals who will be available at the venue.

He said the services will include health screening for men, including checking their prostate health, while women will have an opportunity to undergo breast cancer screening.
Wahichinenda said the initiative is part of UTT AMIS’s efforts to serve its customers more comprehensively, noting that some of the challenges faced by investors are caused by limited understanding of the time required to complete investment transactions.
He explained that when an investor deposits funds, they should not necessarily expect to immediately see an increase in their investment units in their account, as the funds go through procedures to complete the transaction.
According to Wahichinenda, an investor is required to allow time for the process to be completed and, normally, by the evening of the following day, the investment should be reflected in their account.
