Women summit to explore opportunities, advance tourism

SERENGETI: Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park has been picked to host an impactful Serengeti Women and Creators Summit scheduled from November 20 to 23 this year.

This transformative gathering brings together women leaders, entrepreneurs and content creators from across Africa and beyond to connect, learn and be inspired.

The summit will feature empowerment conversations, leadership and business masterclasses plus creative storytelling sessions with a unique luxury safari experience.

In his recent briefing in Dar es Salaam, Paul Tours Safari Chief Executive Officer Mr Peter Kilasa opened up that the summit has been designed to celebrate the power of women and creators while connecting them with nature, purpose and opportunities in one of the world’s iconic wildlife destinations.

“Beyond networking, the summit is a movement that amplifies voices, builds collaborations and inspires participants to use their platforms and businesses to create meaningful impact in their
communities and industries,” he said.

Commenting on immediate impacts after the summit, he said they aim to create strong connections among women entrepreneurs and content creators which will go continue after the event.

“Also, we expect significant boost in visibility for Tanzania mainly Serengeti National Park as a premium destination for experiential travel that combines leadership, empowerment and nature,” he said.

He then named some of the official speakers, masterclass facilitators and strategic partners lineup to brighten the summit as Wanda Gordon (Tanzania), Vanessa (Kenya) and Anisah Mamuya (Tanzania).

Others are Magreth Geddy (Tanzania), Kgopotjo Lebepe (South Africa), Racheal Naijuka (Uganda), Elewana Collection (East Africa) and Stijn Dijkstra (Netherlands).
