Patients commend delivery of healthcare services at Mwananyamala Hospital

DAR ES SALAAM: PRIME Minister Mwigulu Nchemba has made an unannounced visit to Mwananyamala Regional Referral Hospital in Dar es Salaam to assess the delivery of healthcare services to citizens.

During the visit, the Prime Minister toured various wards at the hospital, including the Maternity and Child Ward and the Surgical Ward, where he spoke with patients and their relatives about the services they were receiving and the challenges they were facing.

Dr Mwigulu also listened to citizens’ views on the quality of services provided at the hospital, with patients and their relatives sharing their experiences while seeking medical care.

Some of the citizens who had an opportunity to speak with the Prime Minister commended President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan, and the government for ongoing efforts to improve healthcare services and the hospital environment.

The visit was part of the government’s efforts to directly monitor the delivery of social services and identify challenges facing citizens at service delivery centres.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner Albert Chalamila, Kinondoni District Commissioner Saad Mtambule, and officials from Mwananyamala Regional Referral Hospital.
