RC urges students to seize Tanga expo

TANGA: TANGA Regional Commissioner Ambassador Dr Batilda Burian has urged students aspiring to join higher learning institutions to take advantage of a five-day Scientific and Innovation Exhibition in the region to explore study opportunities and seek guidance on admission procedures.

The exhibition, organised by the Ministry of Education, is being held at Usagara Secondary School. It brings together higher learning institutions and other stakeholders, giving students access to information and services under one roof.

Speaking at the Usagara grounds while inspecting preparations, Dr Burian said the event had come at the right time, especially for students who had recently completed secondary education and were preparing to pursue further studies.

“Use this rare opportunity to explore programmes offered by different institutions. This is a one-stop centre where you can obtain information and pursue your plans to join these institutions,” she said.

Dr Burian thanked the Ministry of Education for accepting the region’s request to host the exhibition again, noting that it would provide residents, particularly young people, with valuable opportunities to learn about education, science, technology and innovation.
