Three dies in car crash in Tanga

At least three people have died in a car crash at Maili Kumi in Handeni, Tanga.

The tragedy happened after a Fuso collided with a Scania and caught fire claiming lives including that of a Kenyan citizen.

Acting Commander of Tanga Regional Police, ACP David Chidingi, said that the accident took place on the 6th of January 2023, around midnight hours adding that the Fuso was coming from Kilimanjaro to Dar es Salaam and the Scania from Dar es Salaam to Kenya.

The deceased were identified as Edward Njoroge, the Kenyan citizen who was driving the Scania, Goodlove Lema the Fuso driver and a passenger who wasn’t identified yet.
