TBA  pavilion wins DITF’s 2nd position Award in Real Estate  category

DAR ES SALAAM: The Tanzania Buildings Agency (TBA) has won the Second Place Award in the Best Exhibition Pavilion category under the Property and Real Estate Sector during the closing ceremony of the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), popularly known as Sabasaba.

The event reached its climax on July 13, 2026, at the Julius Nyerere Grounds in Dar es Salaam.

The award was received on behalf of the TBA Chief Executive Officer, Arch. Daud W. Kondoro, by the Agency’s Director of Support Services, Ms Amina Lumuli. She attributed the achievement to the Agency’s innovative exhibition design and its effective presentation of a wide range of investment opportunities to the public and development partners.

Ms. Lumuli said TBA placed special emphasis on showcasing investment opportunities through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework while educating visitors about the Agency’s strategic projects being implemented across the country.

She noted that some of the projects that attracted significant interest from visitors included the construction of affordable housing, government building projects, and the rehabilitation and modernization of sports infrastructure, including the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.

These projects, she said, demonstrate TBA’s technical expertise in construction, property development, and building management.
