Tanzania probes 64 Ebola alerts, confirms no cases

DODOMA: THE Ministry of Health has investigated 64 Ebola alerts from 21 regions and confirmed that all tested cases were negative.

Health Minister Mohamed Mchengerwa said 11 suspected cases met investigation criteria, with samples collected and tested, all of which ruled out Ebola infection.

He said surveillance systems remain active across communities, health facilities, and border areas to detect and respond to suspected cases early.
