Tanzania, Serbia agree to bolster relations in economic, development and trade besides diplomatic ties

DAR ES SALAAM: TANZANIA and Serbia have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral relations, with a renewed focus on development cooperation, trade and investment.
The commitment was made during talks between the Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, and Serbia’s Ambassador to Tanzania, Jociva Topalovic in Dar es Salaam.

According to information from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, the discussions focused on expanding cooperation in key areas of mutual interest, including economic development, trade, investment and other sectors that could enhance relations between the two countries.

Both sides agreed to further strengthen the longstanding diplomatic ties between Tanzania and Serbia, which they said are built on the principles of friendship, unity and mutual respect.
