UWT chairperson inspires young women to pursue higher education

DAR ES SALAAM: CHAMA cha Mapinduzi Women’s Wing (UWT) Dar es Salaam Regional Chairperson, Mwajabu Mbwambo has earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education from the University of Dar es Salaam, marking an inspiring achievement for women and young people pursuing higher education during the university’s 56th graduation ceremony held at the Mlimani City Conference Hall.

The graduation ceremony was graced by former Fourth Phase President and University Chancellor, Jakaya Kikwete.

Speaking with the Daily News, Mrs Mbwambo accounted for about 42 percent of the graduates, reflecting increasing female participation in higher education.

She noted that despite balancing leadership responsibilities in the CCM women’s wing (UWT), motherhood, and other personal commitments, she remained committed to her studies and successfully achieved her academic goal.

“I am very happy to graduate today. I encourage young people and women to understand that everything is possible. With hard work, determination, and clear personal goals, you can achieve your dreams,” she said
