Dar es Salaam set for three-part Holy Spirit encounter event in June

DAR ES SALAAM: Dar es Salaam will in June host a three-part Holy Spirit Encounter event expected to bring together believers, intercessors, church leaders, women in ministry and marketplace professionals for prayer, teaching, worship and spiritual renewal.
In a press release issued by Prophetess Bahati Mwakalinga, Head of Divine Ministries Global, the event will combine prayer training, a public Holy Spirit encounter, and a special leaders’ gathering aimed at strengthening believers for service both in ministry and in society.
Elaborating, the Prophetess said that the event will open with The School of Prayer, scheduled for June 2 to 4, 2026, at Serena Hotel, where participants will take part in focused training on prayer, intimacy with the Holy Spirit and spiritual discipline.
“It will then continue with The Holy Spirit Encounter on June 5, 2026, at Golden Jubilee, which will be open to the public and will focus on worship, prayer, healing, renewal and the manifestation of the power of God” she said.
In addition, she said that the third gathering, The Kings and Priests: Leaders on the Pulpit and in the Marketplace Gathering, will take place on June 7, 2026, at Johari Rotana and that the session will be by invitation and will focus on women serving God at the altar and in the marketplace.
According to Prophetess Mwakalinga, the June programme carries special significance because Divine Ministries Global has never before hosted the three gatherings together in Dar es Salaam in this format.
She said similar encounters have previously taken place in Europe and the Americas, adding that the Dar es Salaam event comes at a time when many believers seek deeper spiritual renewal, stronger prayer lives and clearer understanding of their role in the church and society.
“The event will move from the prayer room, to the public altar, and finally to the leadership table,” Prophetess Mwakalinga said, describing it as a programme designed to raise Spirit-led believers who can serve God faithfully in different spheres of life.
She said The School of Prayer and The Holy Spirit Encounter will focus on training prayer warriors, rekindling the fire of prayer in the church, raising prayer altars and preparing believers for revival.
Prophetess Mwakalinga added that the Kings and Priests gathering will speak directly to women carrying spiritual mandates in ministry, leadership, business, public service and other areas of influence.
She said the gathering seeks to activate and strengthen women called to expand the Kingdom of God, serve through the fivefold ministry and represent Christ with excellence in the marketplace.
“It will be a gathering of lionesses and eagles who will show forth God’s excellence and run a faithful race for King Jesus until He comes,” she said.
Beyond the June event, Prophetess Mwakalinga said Divine Ministries Global remains committed to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, strengthening moral values, supporting vulnerable communities and helping believers grow in holiness, love and humility.
She said the church also continues to pursue a wider vision that includes prayer centres, counselling, media outreach, education, health services, humanitarian support, orphan care, elderly care, disability support and other community-focused initiatives.
Prophetess Mwakalinga invited believers, leaders and members of the public to attend the Holy Spirit Encounter event and experience what she described as the love, goodness, healing and power of the Lord Jesus Christ.
