Tanzania in talks with major tourism promotion firms in a bid to achieve targeted 8m tourists

ALEXANDRIA: IN increasing efforts to promote Tanzania internationally to achieve the target of 8 million tourists by 2030, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, Dr Hassan Abbasi, in the midst of the World Tourism and Travel Council (WTCC) Conference, has met with major tourism promotion companies in the world.

The first institution is Peter Greenberg Worldwide located in California, USA, where in talks with the company’s Founder Peter Greenberg, the leaders have discussed from the success of the film “Tanzania: The Royal Tour,” to the best way to develop the next steps of the film that has won the hearts of many in the country and abroad.

In addition, he has also met with Nick Evans, Founder of Beautiful Destinations, with offices in New York, London and Dubai, focusing on creative, intelligent tourism advertising and boasting a network of over 500 tourism content creators from around the world.

The WTTC strategic meeting, which brings together tourism stakeholders and government leaders, continued today on the Crystal Serenity cruise ship, which arrived in the Port City of Port Said, where it started yesterday at Sukhna Port and will conclude tomorrow in the Port City of Alexandria, all in Egypt.
