Tanzanian envoy in France promotes his country’s political and religious stability

PARIS: TANZANIA’S Ambassador to France, Saidi Othman Yakubu, has met and held talks with the Ambassador of the Vatican and representative of the Pope in France, who also serves as Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Celestino Migliore.
The meeting marked Ambassador Yakubu’s official introduction following the start of his diplomatic assignment in France.
During the talks, Ambassador Migliore outlined his role as the Pope’s representative and his responsibility in coordinating and strengthening cooperation among ambassadors accredited to France.

Ambassador Yakubu, on his part, highlighted Tanzania’s political and religious stability, noting that people of different faiths continue to coexist in peace, unity and mutual respect.

The two sides agreed to further strengthen cooperation between the Tanzanian Embassy and the Vatican’s representative office for mutual benefit.
