CRDB hailed for backing innovative Kitchen Party Gala

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Minister for Industry and Trade, Judith Kapinga, has commended CRDB Bank for its continued role as a key partner in promoting entrepreneurship through financial literacy and access to capital.
Speaking at the Kitchen Party Gala 2026, where CRDB was a sponsor, the minister emphasized the importance of financial institutions in building a strong and inclusive economy.
“Our society needs sustainable economic development to address poverty and other challenges. Achieving this requires the participation of everyone. I commend CRDB and other sponsors for making this year’s event a success. Women are the backbone of family prosperity,” she said.
During the event, CRDB provided financial education and showcased various opportunities for capital growth targeting youth and small-scale entrepreneurs.
The initiative aims to strengthen financial capacity, improve business management, and enhance competitiveness in the market.
On her part, Head of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) at CRDB, Agness Kisinini, said economically empowered women with legitimate income are a strong pillar for both families and the nation.
“Our bank offers specialized accounts and financial products tailored for hardworking women. I encourage you to take advantage of these services in your economic journey,” she said.
She added that CRDB’s participation in the platform seeks to enhance financial inclusion by reaching entrepreneurs in emerging and creative sectors, while also raising awareness of financial services that support the growth of small and medium enterprises.
Kisinini further stressed the importance of financial discipline, smart investment, and the use of formal financial services as key drivers for long-term business success.
CRDB Bank believes that platforms like Kitchen Party Gala not only showcase creativity but also serve as vital bridges for entrepreneurs to access knowledge, networks, and resources necessary to grow their businesses and contribute to the national economy.
