Dr Nchimbi tables Tanzanian priorities at the ACP’s Golden Jubilee

MALABO: VICE President Emmanuel Nchimbi is attending a high-level Africa-Caribbean-Pacific (ACP) summit in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, representing President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
According to a statement issued by the Vice-President’s Office, Franco Singaile the VP is attending the meeting of Heads of State and Government of the ACP bloc scheduled to run from today, March 27 to 29 in Malabo.
The summit is expected to provide Tanzania with a strategic platform to present its national priorities while contributing to the formulation of new policies for the bloc, which is marking 50 years since its establishment.

Moreover, the statement noted that Tanzania’s participation in the summit reflects its continued commitment to active engagement in regional and international affairs, while amplifying its voice in global development and cooperation discussions.
During the meeting, the Vice-President is also expected to hold bilateral talks with various leaders aimed at strengthening economic and development cooperation between Tanzania and other member states.
The ACP grouping brings together countries from Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific to advance shared interests in trade, development, and international partnerships.
