Rungwe, the US firm unveil attractions that can lure American visitors

TUKUYU: THE Teaching Artist Institute (TAI), an American organization, in collaboration with Rungwe International College of Business and Entrepreneurship Development (RICOBED), is working to promote tourism in Rungwe District by increasing the number of visitors from the United States of America.
This initiative was highlighted during a recent tour involving an American professor, Chimene Castor, from Howard University’s Department of Nutritional Sciences, under the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CNAHS).

The professor, who is serving as a visiting scholar at the College of Agricultural and Food Technology (CoAF), explored several tourist attractions across the district.
Among the sites visited were Kaporogwe Waterfall, avocado farms, God’s Bridge, Matema Beach, tea plantations, and banana farms—showcasing the district’s rich natural beauty and agricultural potential.
